 Indian Business Delegation calls on Minister

A five-member delegation from the Indian Business team in the area of Education, Monday, April 13, 2015 paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Education, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang in her office.

The Indian Business delegation is in the country as a follow-up to the visit to India last year by the Vice-President, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.

The leader of the delegation, Mr. Kapil Suri, who is also the Director of Jodhpur National University in India said institutions in India have always expressed their interest to enhance co-operation at various levels in education between India and Ghana.

He, therefore, called on Ghanaian prospective students who wish to pursue their studies in India to do so since institutions in their country are well established to take care of their increasing needs.

The Minister for Education, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, for her part pledged the Ministry’s support towards the realisation of the enhanced co-operation between the two countries in terms of education.
